John Reardon nearly turned down the role of Charlie Hudson on Hudson & Rex, luckily for him his wife and his son also named Hudson helped John make the right decision.
John talks about initially turning down the role due to just moving to Los Angeles and then reading the script and loving it. Little did John know he would eventually be settling down in Newfoundland and have a daughter born on the island.
