• Christmas in COVID

        In the 100TH Episode of Tobin Tonight, we celebrate Christmas, a very different kind of Christmas,  The Christmas in COVID. 

       We reached out to past guests and got their input on what Christmas means to them.  What are some of their favorite traditions, their favorite Christmas songs and movies and their favorite Christmas Memories.

  • Tyler Ransom

    In this episode of Tobin Tonight we welcome 19 year old Tyler Ransom to the show to discuss his interest and passion in jazz and blues music.  Tyler has a kidney illness called Nephrotic Syndrome which he discusses on the podcast and explains how that has not set him back from pursuing his musical career. 

    Tyler also talks about his new album out in Feburary and how John Mayer once LIKED his video.

  • Sally Shaar

       In this weeks episode of Tobin Tonight, we welcome Sally Shaar of the Canadian rock band, Monowhales.   Sally talks about the new album the band is putting out,  and the song All or Nothing.  

       Tobin and Sally take a virtual walk down memory lane remembering the days of MSN, Habbo Hotel,  Neopets and of course MySpace.  They talk about the times before PR reps for bands and how bands were essentially their own promoters in the digitial age. 

        Hey, if you like retro 90's talk with an easy going fun personality who also sings in a band,  you have VERY distinctive tastes but WE got you covered. 

  • Isabel Ritchie & Jeremy Drury

       In this episode of Tobin Tonight, Tobin welcomes Isabel Ritchie and Jeremy Drury of the Strumbellas to the podcast.  The two talk about how the band formed,  how they got into their respective instruments, for Isabel, the violin and for Jeremy the drums and they chat about making an album duing COVID. 

      Tobin also enlights Jeremy on the College Years of Saved By The Bell,  therefore it's already a must listen. 

  • Brendan Brown

       In Episode 93 of Tobin Tonight, Tobin welcomes Brendan Brown from Wheatus to the show.   Brendan talks to Tobin about how he formed the band, his original path in life and they talk about the song Teenage Dirtbag.  

       Brendan and Tobin also chat about some other artists and their creativity and Brendan gives updates on a future tour and re-release of their debut hit album.

  • Tebey

       In Episode 92 of Tobin Tonight, we welcome Tebey to the podcast.  Tebey talks about signing a record deal at 16, losing that deal and working his way back into the music industry (not that he ever left, he just sort of shifted gears). 

       Tebey also talks about being a mental health advocate and how it's still a struggle today but it's important to talk about it. 

       We finish off the episode with a game of "How Canadian", so why wait, go enjoy this week's episode.

        In Episode 91 of Tobin Tonight, Tobin chats with Felix Snow and Chelsea Todd (17 Memphis) about how they are handling COVID, their music and latest projects and the meaing behind the name. 

       It's an opposites attract dynamic which makes for a fun interview.  How do they view music? Who inspired them? Do they like being classified as pop country?

       In this episode, Tobin chats with Ian Casselman of the Canadian band, Marianas Trench.  Ian explains how he joined the band thanks to an ad in the paper, Josh's quick wit and smarts and gives some insightful opinions on social media and cancel culture. 

      Of course he also talks about the bands music and explains the importance of Much Music to the bands career,  being honest and reaching out to your fans.

       In Episode 88 of Tobin Tonight, Tobin welcomes back Adam Gregory to the show to see how Adam and his family are doing during COVID, to talk his new album and song Perfect World and to discuss the country music scene and how Adam is trying to balance his style vs the new country style.

       In Episode 87 of Tobin Tonight, Tobin welcomes Cayd, Ty and Dayne Greiner to the podcast.   The trio of brothers talk about how they got involved in music, forming the band, NewLaw and they discuss their time on AGT (America's Got Talent).
